Robyn Goodwin

Robyn Goodwin is a writer and illustrator of children's books.  Robyn commenced writing late in life but developed an affinity for all creators large and small from an early age.  Being raised on farms allowed Robyn unrestricted advantage to studying and drawing wildlife, farm and domestic animals.

In primary school Robyn had difficulty learning to read. A very wise teacher came to the rescue and taught Robyn to read with books that contained rhythm, rhyme and repetition. It is now with this same formula Robyn writes and illustrates her stories. Her books are enjoyed by the young and old alike. They help children to gain confidence and the necessary skills needed to enjoy reading and to create their own works.

Robyn is passionate about our Australian flora and fauna. She uses her storytelling and brightly coloured illustrations as a platform to educate children about the protection and preservation of our unique environment.
